Despite all that, something still bothered him. He shook his head as his feet clicked rhythmically on the stone pathing below him. Well, the obvious answer (the one his own mind never seemed to allow him to forget) was that they were playing nice because this was their one chance at catching a glimpse of the man who had ruined their lives, and how could he blame them for that? Did it not make sense for them to try and get back at him through any means necessary? He was no longer living a double life, and yet everyone around him, for the most part, knew that he had been lying to them all along. It was hard to adjust to this new life, and more so to adjust to…the truth. With a nervous spring in his step, the newly activated Hexacast moved rather quickly, his eyes constantly flicking to places around him, looking, expecting someone to be watching him.
